Making the decision to come to therapy can be difficult, however so many of us struggle with balancing all areas of our lives. Life can be challenging, and we all need help at times to untangle the issues that hold us back, to determine which direction to go. Sometimes we become so stuck we can no longer see where we are going or even where we are. I believe that everyone is the expert in their own lives. I strongly believe that no one can tell you how to live your life, and my role in your journey is to help clear away all the “stuff” that gets in the way and find balance in all directions. Each session belongs to you and my goal is to make it a comfortable place for you to tell your story, without worry of judgement, criticism, or advice.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have been counseling since 2003. I have extensive training and experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with a variety of issues including anxiety and stress, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief and loss, ADHD, as well as other issues. My treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help you resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. I draw upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for you. In working with couples, we all work together to learn how to resolve conflict in a healthy way and restore a connection that may be diminished or lost. I welcome people of all religious/cultural backgrounds and am LGBTQ friendly.
